This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information when you visit our website, request a growth audit, contact us, become a client or otherwise interact with our services.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us. “Personal information” generally means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.

02

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Pipeline Labs and may include:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number and business address.
  • Business and enquiry details such as your business name, role, ownership status, services, locations, growth goals, current marketing activity and approximate advertising spend.
  • Client and service information including communications, meeting notes, proposals, account permissions, campaign information, reporting requirements and service history.
  • Advertising and performance information including campaign, audience, conversion, lead, call, booking, customer, revenue and attribution data made available through platforms or systems you authorise us to access.
  • Website and device information including IP address, browser type, device type, referring source, pages viewed, interactions, approximate location and cookie or similar identifiers.
  • Marketing preferences including whether you have opted in to, opened, clicked or unsubscribed from communications.
  • Billing and administrative information where required to establish or manage a client relationship. Payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider rather than stored by us directly.

We do not generally seek sensitive information. Please do not provide sensitive information unless it is reasonably necessary for our services and you consent to us handling it.

03

How We Collect Information

We may collect personal information:

  • directly from you through website forms, email, phone calls, video meetings, documents and other communications;
  • automatically when you use our website or interact with our advertising, emails or digital content;
  • from clients, authorised team members, referrals, business partners and publicly available sources;
  • from advertising, analytics, CRM, call-tracking and reporting platforms when access has been authorised; and
  • from service providers that support our website, communications, lead management and delivery of our services.

If you provide us with personal information about another person, you must be authorised to do so and must make them aware of this Privacy Policy where appropriate.

04

How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and assess eligibility or suitability for a growth audit;
  • contact you, schedule meetings and manage our relationship with you;
  • prepare audits, proposals, strategies, campaigns, tracking plans, attribution models and reports;
  • create or update records in our CRM and related business systems;
  • deliver, monitor, measure and improve our advertising and growth services;
  • connect marketing activity with lead, customer and revenue outcomes;
  • maintain, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website, systems and services;
  • send service messages and, where permitted, relevant marketing communications;
  • manage billing, administration, contracts and disputes; and
  • comply with law, enforce our rights and protect our clients, users and business.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information for analysis, benchmarking, service improvement and reporting where it is no longer reasonably capable of identifying an individual.

05

Cookies, Analytics & Attribution

Our website and campaigns may use cookies, pixels, tags, conversion APIs and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand visits, measure advertising performance and attribute enquiries or sales to marketing activity.

These technologies may be provided by services such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, GoHighLevel and other analytics, advertising, call-tracking or CRM providers. Depending on your browser, device and the services in use, those providers may receive identifiers, device information, page activity and conversion events and may handle that information under their own privacy policies.

You can limit some cookies through your browser settings and use the privacy or advertising controls offered by the relevant platform. Blocking cookies may affect website functionality and the accuracy of measurement.

06

Client Accounts, CRM & Customer Data

When a client authorises us to access advertising, analytics, tag-management, call-tracking, reporting or CRM systems, we use the access reasonably required to provide the agreed services. Initial audit access is generally requested on a view-only basis where the platform supports it.

Those systems may contain personal information about a client’s prospects, leads, customers or staff. We handle that information only for authorised service delivery, including measurement, attribution, campaign optimisation, reporting and troubleshooting, or as otherwise required by law.

Clients remain responsible for ensuring they have the authority and appropriate notices or consents required to provide us with access to personal information and to use tracking or advertising technologies within their business.

07

When We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:

  • our personnel, contractors and consultants who need it to perform their work;
  • hosting, cloud storage, CRM, communications, analytics, advertising, call-tracking, reporting, payment and IT service providers;
  • advertising and technology platforms acting on our instructions or in accordance with their own terms;
  • professional advisers such as accountants, insurers and legal advisers;
  • a purchaser, adviser or other participant in a proposed business sale, restructure or transfer; and
  • regulators, law-enforcement bodies, courts or other parties where required or authorised by law, or where necessary to protect rights, safety or security.

We do not sell personal information.

08

Overseas Storage & Disclosure

Some of our technology and service providers operate or store information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries in which those providers or their subcontractors operate. The specific locations may change from time to time and are often described in the provider’s own documentation.

Where Australian privacy law applies to an overseas disclosure, we take reasonable steps in the circumstances to ensure personal information is handled appropriately. However, privacy and data-protection laws outside Australia may differ from Australian law.

09

Direct Marketing & Your Choices

Where permitted, we may use your contact details to send information about Pipeline Labs, our services, insights or offers that may be relevant to you. We will identify ourselves and provide a clear way to opt out of electronic marketing messages.

10

Security & Retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps may include access controls, permission management, reputable service providers and appropriate account-security practices.

No transmission or storage system is completely secure. If you believe information connected with Pipeline Labs has been compromised, please contact us promptly.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described in this policy, our contractual and legal obligations, recordkeeping and dispute resolution. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to legal and technical limitations.

We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request. In some circumstances, the law permits or requires us to refuse access or correction. If that occurs, we will explain the reason and available complaint options where required.

Privacy Questions & Complaints

If you have a privacy question or complaint, please contact us first. Include your name, contact details and enough information to explain the issue. We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 days, or let you know if we need more time.

If you are not satisfied with our response and the Privacy Act applies, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner .
